Body Language and the
Power of Nonverbal Communication

Time: 9AM-4:30PM

Place: Horse Sense of the Carolinas, Inc.

Class Size: Up to 20

Horse Sense of the Carolinas, Inc., is offering a one-day interactive workshop designed to increase awareness of the nonverbal communication of health professionals and the influence this can have on therapeutic practice.

Through the powerful modality of Equine-Assisted Learning, based on the Equine Assisted Growth And Learning Association(EAGALA) Model, participants will identify their own nonverbal communication patterns and how to utilize them to better interact with clients in session.

Participants will explore common nonverbal signals in others & how to bring body language awareness into client sessions in a productive & impactful way. We will examine current science on body language and what it means in the therapeutic session, as well as practice our skills in the moment with real-time feedback with horses.
