Driving in?

 It is very important that you NOT follow GPS directions. They are ALMOST ALWAYS wrong when driving to Horse Sense!

From the North
Find your way to I-26 East/23 South and follow it to Exit 11– Marshall/Mars Hill. Take Rt.213 towards Marshall. Follow 213 for 9.7 miles towards Marshall until it dead ends on Rt.25/70 Business. 25/70 Business will turn into Main St. within a mile after turning on it. Now, you are in downtown Marshall. You will stay on Main St. until you reach the second (and last) traffic signal. At this intersection, the Madison County Courthouse will be on your right while the bridge over the French Broad River will be on your left. Take this left turn, cross the bridge and follow this same road for 7 miles, be mindful we are in the mountains, and the road can be very windy. Horse Sense will be on your left - watch for signs!!

From the South
Find your way to I-26 West/19-23North and follow it to Exit 11 – Marshall/Mars Hill. Take Rt.213 towards Marshall. Follow 213 for 9.7 miles towards Marshall until it dead ends on Rt.25/70 Business. 25/70 Business will turn into Main St. within a mile after turning on it. Now, you are in downtown Marshall. You will stay on Main St. until you take a left at the second (and last) traffic signal. You can’t miss this road, it’s called Bailey’s Branch Rd. The Madison County Courthouse will be on your right and the bridge over the French Broad River will be on your left. Take this left turn, cross the bridge and follow this same road for 7 miles, be mindful we are in the mountains, and the road can be very windy. Horse Sense will be on your left - watch for signs!!

From the West
Find your way to I-40 East. Take exit 432B on the left to merge onto US-25W S/US-70 E toward Newport. Follow US-25W S/US-70 E for about 43 miles, past Hot Springs and then take a right onto Main St. to descend into downtown Marshall. Follow Main St. for a few blocks and then turn right at the first traffic signal. You can’t miss this road, it’s called Bailey’s Branch Rd. The Madison County Courthouse will be on your left and the bridge over the French Broad River will be on your right. Take this right turn, cross the bridge and follow this same road for 7 miles, be mindful we are in the mountains, and the road can be very windy. Horse Sense will be on your left - watch for signs!!

From the East
Find your way to I-40 West. Take exit 53B for I-240/US-74-A West towards Asheville. Stay on 240-W for about 5 miles through downtown Asheville and then take the exit onto US-19 N/US-23 N/US-70 W toward Weaverville. Stay on 19/23 North for about 18.2 miles until Exit 11 – Marshall/Mars Hill. Take Rt.213 towards Marshall. Follow 213 for 9.7 miles towards Marshall until it dead ends on Rt.25/70 Business. 25/70 Business will turn into Main St. within a mile after turning on it. Now, you are in downtown Marshall.
